The very first word revealed in the Holy Quran was ‘Iqra’ – Read. The ability to read should therefore be a basic human opportunity. Malcom X very wisely said “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” We believe that everyone, especially the less fortunate, should have the opportunity to access this passport to the future. We believe that education is crucial need for human development and progress. This is the reason we have a number of educational projects in some of the less fortunate parts of the world. Mustafa Sharif is currently operating in some of the most deprived areas in Pakistan. We currently have projects operating in severely deprived and remote areas in Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the ambition of expanding across the whole region of Pakistan and beyond. The Mustafa Sharif charity has now also expanded its educational support to regions in Africa (in the form of Educational Centre) and Sri Lanka. As part of our educational packages, we currently support children and young people of all ages and levels i.e. primary to PHD level. In addition to education we provide support with school uniforms, books and etc. In Pakistan (LalaMusa), we work with an organisation to support students who are struggling financially. On the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim) “Each One Teach One. Education is a powerful tool. You can support a child’s monthly education from as little as £10 a month. Alternatively, you can support a number of children you can pay for a teacher for as little as £50 a month in Pakistan and £100 in Africa. Our charity takes a challenging responsibility to provide key of success to start engine of progression for deprived people. We believe education is a device component of charity, the best gift for destitute communities which can help to remove poverty. The dedicated and self-motivated team of our organisation has spirit of arranging sources to present opportunities of schooling by well trained teachers. Fast growing network has enabled us to move further & faster to accomplish our further means of leaning. There are multiple schools that Mustafia sharif has helped support: The Chitral school began in 2014 september 2nd as there was no (special) school in the area and since then Mustafia sharif has been running the school with around 55 children being supported with a life-changing primary school education (muslim education as well as mainstream education). The children are from three different villages in the mountains who are so poor they do not even have any shoes. We provide them clothing, shoes and education for free. In 2017 support began for a school in faisalabad chak, Punjabi for 150 children studying currently. We support these vulnerable children by providing food and clothing. Three schools in Interior Sindh (District khair) and Mirpur Mathelo (District Ghotki), both located in pakistan. One school has 325 children studying in a school called "Arean" in Matsangoni Madeteni (near numbani), kenya where we provide teacher salary, food, uniform for the children.
